Beit Ahavat Shalom is a small but growing Humanist Jewish community dedicated to serving the needs of Jews from all backgrounds. We strive to embraces the idea of klal yisrael, the unfractured totality of Jewish life. We affirm the idea of haverim kol yisrael, that all Israel is still joined in fellowship despite dispersion or dichotomies.
Beit Ahavat Shalom seeks to honor and strengthen our connections to the beauty of Judaism while embracing a modern worldview that is welcoming of everyone regardless of background. Recognizing the value of our traditions we are continually seeking to energize a contemporary and relevant Jewish life.
The goal of Beit Ahavat Shalom is to serve Jews living in the San Jacinto and Hemet communities. To meet the needs of our members and to serve Jews in typically underrepresented Jewish areas. We are a family friendly congregation welcoming children of all ages. We currently meets for Shabbat twice a month, for Holidays, for special occasions, and for life cycle events. We encourage a community sense of vibrancy rooted in the mesorah with a serious commitment to pluralism, inclusivity, and the continuity of Jewish culture, while retaining friendly and open to all Jews regardless of their background, affiliation, level of observance, or degree of knowledge.
